Bio
We're a social enterprise on a mission to break down barriers for older moms in Nigeria. We leverage our marketing and communication expertise to: a) Advocate for older motherhood: We challenge traditional narratives and promote the unique strengths that come with motherhood later in life. b) Harness technology for support: We use digital platforms to connect moms, share real stories about the joys and challenges of older motherhood, offer practical self-help advice and offer digital skills training. Together, we're building a supportive community where older Nigerian moms can thrive.

Mentoring philosophy
I believe mentorship is a collaborative journey of empowerment and growth. As a mentor, I strive to: - Foster a safe and trusting space where open communication and honest feedback are encouraged. - Understand the mentee's unique goals and aspirations, and tailor my guidance accordingly. - Empower the mentee to take ownership of their learning and development. - Share my knowledge and experience generously, while also encouraging the mentee to develop their own critical thinking skills. - Provide constructive feedback that is specific, actionable, and focused on growth. - Celebrate the mentee's successes and offer support during challenges. - Continually learn and reflect on my own mentoring practice. I expect the mentee to: - Be actively engaged in the mentoring relationship. - Come prepared to discussions with specific questions or topics. - Be open to feedback and willing to learn from mistakes. - Take initiative and demonstrate a commitment to their goals. - Maintain open communication and share progress and challenges honestly. Ultimately, my goal is to equip the mentee with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to thrive in their chosen field.
