I bring a wealth of strengths to this role that directly align with the PLRCAP's terms of reference: In my role as Head of Program Implementation at Search for Common Ground, I provided strategic leadership and oversight to international staff. My experience in governance and leadership aligns with the expertise sought for PLRCAP. In various leadership roles, including Country Director (Interim) and Head of Communications, I supervised diverse teams, provided guidance, and developed team skills through training and professional development, demonstrating proficiency in human resource management. As Country Program Quality Manager at International Alert, I developed country program strategy, engaged in policy advocacy, and collaborated with NGOs and government bodies. My experience aligns with the need for expertise in strategic planning and advocacy. With roles such as Head of Program Implementation and Country Director (Interim), I have a proven track record in program development, oversight, and project management, ensuring effective implementation and financial accountability. Having held roles such as Head of Communications, I have a strong background in external and internal communication, media campaigns, and advocacy briefs, aligning with the PLRCAP's focus on communication. As Country Program Quality Manager, I coordinated research studies, integrated findings into action plans, and conducted data quality assessments. My research skills are directly relevant to the consultancy's need for expertise in research and knowledge sharing. With ongoing studies in Advanced Masters in Governance and Development and a Ph.D. in Development Communication, coupled with experience in designing and monitoring adaptive management tools, I bring educational and capacity-building expertise to the table. I am eager to leverage my diverse experience and strengths to contribute to the development and roll-out of PLRCAP courses, provide one-on-one mentorship to Nigerian NGOs, and support the NGO Support Hub's communities of practice and curated resource library.
