Expertise and experience in these other areas

As a key mentor and enthusiast of the USAID-Scale Activity, I have provided extensive support to over 80 national partners in Nigeria. My additional expertise lies in the areas of Artificial Intelligence for NGOs Innovation and CSOs Advocacy in Difficult Contexts. Artificial Intelligence for NGOs Innovation I had the rare privilege to host online masterclasses and held personalized sessions at the instances and plans of USAID-Scale to equip national partners with the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage AI for innovative solutions in their organizational operations and programs. Because of sustained and mutually beneficial interactions, I was inducted into the Fellows for Organizational Development, demonstrating my commitment to fostering organizational growth and effectiveness. At the maiden and second National Organizational Development Summit NODS, I participated as a key paper presenter, resource person, and panel discussant during the summit main events, sharing insights on AI's potential for NGOs. CSOs Advocacy in Difficult Contexts On the Core Principles of Humanitarian Access: I am a thorough TOT-rated facilitator trained by the United Nations, I have trained and coached numerous individuals on the essential principles of humanitarian access. On CSOs Advocacy Training and Mentoring: I have freely leveraged my experience at ActionAid Nigeria, and most recently with almost 10 years in Northeast Nigeria - where I have provided extensive training and mentorship on advocacy strategies, particularly in the context of rural development and policy change. Particularly targeting national organizations and emerging networks across Nigeria and the Nigeria Local Coalition accelerator in the Northeast. Overall, my mentoring and coaching experiences have focused on empowering national partners to effectively utilize AI for innovation and advocate for social change in challenging environments.

Mentoring philosophy

Based on my experience and expertise, my mentoring philosophy revolves around empowerment, practical application, collaborative and Lifelong learning. I prioritize equipping mentees with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to drive their own development and achieve their goals. I try to emphasize the importance of applying theoretical concepts to real-world situations and fostering a hands-on approach to learning. I believe in creating a supportive and collaborative environment where mentees can learn from each other and share their experiences. I try to foster a mindset of continuous learning and encourage mentees to seek out new opportunities for growth and development. Mutual respect, patience, empathy and trust with mindset of continues improvement remains the core for a successful and beneficial mentoring relationship.
