Expertise and experience in these other areas

I am a research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (RMEL) expert with over 9 years of experience working with humanitarian, development, and donor organizations in multicultural settings across Nigeria, Africa, and Europe. I have a proven track record in designing, managing, and implementing RMEL systems, conducting research, evaluations, and performance monitoring activities, and adapting evidence and learning into program design and implementation. In my previous roles, I worked with a wide range of organizations, including UN agencies, INGOs, international donor organizations, and NGOs, as an academic, independent research and training consultant, Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning expert, and program manager. I have experience in a variety of sectors, including human rights, migration, education, peacebuilding, CPVE, governance, security, disability rights, advocacy, and grant-making. My areas of specialization are technical and strategic program management, research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (RMEL), theory of change analysis and development, portfolio and project performance evaluation (baseline, midline, and final), M&E system design, management, and strengthening, third-party monitoring, organizational capacity assessment (OCA) using a variety of unique and customized tools, conflict analysis, vulnerability assessment, program development and coordination, grants management, project close-out, logical and result framework design, qualitative, quantitative, and participatory research methods, conflict media monitoring (including the development of assessment tools for radio listenership, media, and communication channel mapping), and project coordination (PVE, CVE, peace building, PMP - monitoring plans, performance indicators, and toolkit). My strengths include the ability to work within systems and to think outside of them; proven leadership and team building skills; and strong communication and analytical skills.

Mentoring philosophy

I believe in fostering curiosity as a fundamental aspect of learning and growth. I encourage my mentees to ask questions, explore different areas of interest, and delve into unfamiliar territories helping cultivate a mindset of continuous learning and intellectual curiosity.
